Get Authorized Dealer (AD) Code
​An AD Code is a 14-digit numerical code you can get from the bank with which you have a current account to run your import-export business. This is in line with the purpose of an AD Code, which is to ensure that foreign currency transactions in an exporter’s current account are from legal trade.

NOTE: W.e.f. June 2022 AD code with associated bank account will now require to be registered in the System at only one port, and thereafter, the AD code would be available at all Customs locations.
Process for AD Code Applicaiton
1. Check whether your bank deals in forex
5. Submit the documents on ICEGATE portal
2. Submit AD Code Application to Bank
6. Get Approval on Email

3. Collect Approval letter from Bank.
4. Sign the required documents using DSC
